Mathematics is a compulsory part of the national curriculum from KS1 to KS4 (GCSE). Understanding number and mathematical logic is something all children must grasp in order to succeed in their final secondary exams and much later in life. Knowledge of mathematics is also a part of daily life. From division, multiplication and fractions to algebra, trigonometry and cumulative frequency.
